Kelly Blazek, IABC Communicator of the Year

Kelly Blazek is not a headhunter or recruiter.  Her blog and her listserv is popular in Northeast Ohio area.  Every two weeks or so, the self-described Job Bank Mother sends a list of positions in the marketing, PR, digital communications, fundraising, non-profit management, media, journalism and graphics fields throughout Northeast Ohio. Kelly Blazek's is the architect of one of the largest individually produced employment lists in the country within the marketing and communications field.

The Cleveland Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) recognized Kelly Blazek as Communicator of the Year for her service to the industry. This award is presented annually to recognize a practitioner who demonstrates excellence in communications.

Kelly Blazek, a senior internal communications practitioner, owner of Gemba Communications (www.gembacomms.com) and a Six Sigma Green Belt, advises her clients in many areas. She specializes in employee and change management communication issues and in creating effective messaging for workforces around the world.  Kelly Blazek developed internal communication programs for diversified industrial companies such as GE, Eaton Corporation and Ingersoll Rand.
